Market: Supervised Care

Summary:

Salvation Army, Rochester, New York. Architectura was honored to assist with continuing the Salvation Army's "Heart to God & Hand to Man" philosophy with the design of their new 5,800 square foot Women's Shelter. The addition wing allows for expanded services to the City of Rochester's west side. The facility includes bedrooms, toilet/shower rooms, lounges and office space. The exterior of the building is a tasteful mixture of stained masonry block and E.I.F.S. and blends seamlessly with the existing building. The new covered entry provides ample handicapped and secure access to the building and is inviting to the surrounding community.
